WHAT ARE MICROGREENS?

  • Microgreens are baby seedlings of adult, edible plants that are harvested after the growth of the first set of leaves.


  • Microgreens are often called a “superfood” because they contain 4 - 40 times more nutrients than the mature, adult version of the same vegetable, herb, or grain.

HOW DO I EAT MICROGREENS?

  • Gain the most health benefits by eating microgreens raw or lightly cooked.

  • Keep microgreens stored in the fridge and rinse right before eating or cooking.

  • Eat microgreens within 7 days of harvest date for best freshness. 

  • Try tossing microgreens into sandwiches, wraps, pastas, salads, and egg dishes.


  • Throw some microgreens into the wok or over a frozen meal.

  • Garnish a pizza, soup – or even a dessert!​
