This 2.2-oz spray meets TSA travel requirements for liquids and is naturally plant-powered (see References) by:

Organic soap berries – fruit from the Sapindus mukorossi tree that is rich in saponins and acts as a natural bug-repellent
Organic neem leaves – leaves from the Azadirachta indica neem tree that contain bug-repelling saponins plus insecticidal azadirachtin compounds
Therapeutic-grade citronella, peppermint, & clove essential oils – essential oils that studies have shown to be effective in repelling mosquitos (see References)
Organic vanilla extract – extract from the vanilla bean that contains vanillin, a natural compound that has been shown to increase bug repellent protection time by 2 hours when added at 5% or greater concentration to plant-based insect-repellents

Remaining ingredients include:

Organic witch hazel extract – a skin-safe, natural astringent from the bark of the flowering Hamamelis virginiana tree
Reverse-osmosis filtered water
Vitamin E – a nourishing and restorative vitamin for the skin
Non-GMO citric acid – a natural preservative that is present in citrus fruits

This product is 100% natural and does not contain any DEET (N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide) – a common ingredient in commercial insect repellents that comes with its own toxicity risks, such as skin inflammation or neurotoxicity that may result from DEET exposure of 4 g or more per week (see References).

How to Apply

Shake well – then spray over bug-exposed skin. For even stronger and longer-lasting effects, first apply Bug-Off Body Glide (HERE) to skin before spraying. Reapply spray every 2 hours or as needed.

Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised with the smell of this spray!
