Prized Skin Ingredients of the Desert
1. Camel Milk
A secret beauty weapon also highly prized by allergy-sufferers, camel milk offers valuable nutrients with "camel milk allergy" being virtually unknown. It offers antimicrobial, antiviral, immune-stimulant, antioxidant, and accelerated wound-healing properties and contains skin-loving vitamins B & C, carotene, iron, zinc, lanolin (smooths skin), and the presence of α-hydroxyl acids known for smoothing wrinkle lines and plumping up skin hydration.
Camel milk has [understandably!] been valued in skincare products for helping manage eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and acne (see References).
2. Egyptian Cucumber – Juiced
Otherwise known as the "luffa" plant, varying species of this plant can grow in Egypt, Southeast Asia, India, Japan, China, and the U.S.
Commonly used in traditional Indian medicine for a range of diseases, extracts of this plant (fruit and/or leaf) have powerful health value and have been demonstrated to possess antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain-relieving), anti-cancer, anti-ulcer, liver-protective properties, among others. 3. Egyptian Geranium Rose Essential Oil
Studies on geranium rose essential oil have demonstrated anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activity, with indications that it also possesses antibacterial activity, antifungal activity, and neuropathic pain-relieving potential (see References). It also just smells wonderful!

- Raw Honey – offers anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity; also stimulates immunity and tissue growth, minimizes formation of scars, and helps sterilize infected wounds because of its antibacterial properties
- Minimal Inclusion of Coconut Oil – Coconut oil is a wonderful natural oil that adds incredible cleansing, bubbling, and health properties to finished (saponified) soap; we've drastically reduced the percentage of coconut oil in this soap, however – replacing it with more of our other nourishing saponifiable oils and butters described below – to increase the gentleness of this soap's cleansing power for use on the face

We use our most nourishing and luxurious ingredients as the primary base of our face soaps – all of which collectively help promote soft, supple, and healthfully radiant skin (see References):
- Grass-fed, pasture-raised beef tallow – offers anti-inflammatory support, antioxidants glutathione & superoxide dismutase, omega-3 fatty acids, precursors to vitamins A & E
- Pasture-raised pork lard – offers vitamin D3 which enhances wound healing
- Organic kokum butter – offers antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidepressant, and anti-anxiolytic benefits
- Organic hemp oil – has been shown to reactivate the natural skin barrier, improve wound healing, increase linoleic acids, essential fatty acids, and help relieve itchiness

How To Use Our Face Soaps
First wet the face and neck with water, then rub face soap between your hands to create a creamy lather. Apply and massage to all of face and neck (while avoiding getting soap inside the eyes) – then rinse off with water and follow up with face toner and moisturizer.
