Kokum Buttter – A Luxurious + Nourishing Shampoo Base

Our primary saponified oil in this shampoo bar is organic kokum butter – a nutrient-rich natural butter derived from India's Garcinia indica evergreen tree.

Saponified kokum butter not only makes for a luxurious and mildly cleansing shampoo bar but has also been demonstrated to offer antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidepressant, and anti-anxiolytic activity (see References).

Additional Oils Supporting Hair Health

This bar additionally contains therapeutic-grade essential oils of rosemary, lavender, and sage – all shown to support healthy hair growth; while argan oil has long been prized for adding luster to hair (see References).

Suggested Use

Rub the bar back and forth against your hair or against a sponge to get the rich lather started, then massage throughout your hair and scalp before rinsing out.

For an extra nourishing hair treatment, let this co-wash shampoo stay in your hair for several minutes before rinsing out. Follow up with a natural conditioner free of synthetic toxins and fragrance.

Yes! A natural shampoo bar can really lather up without all the chemicals found in commercial liquid shampoos.

Our shampoo bars include carefully selected natural ingredients (such as organic castor oil, organic coconut oil, and in this case – okra and potato infusions – see Ingredients), all of which help the bar produce a rich – and healthy – lather for easy and luxurious hair-washing.

We are not responsible for packages that are returned and/or not delivered by the mail carrier but can re-ship at customer expense.
