This 2.7-oz limited ingredient shampoo + soap bar consists of water + 4 "saponified" ("made into soap") oils that make for a naturally clean and nourishing wash for hair, body – and even dog!
Saponified oils include (see References):
- Grass-fed beef tallow (pasture-raised) – feeds hair and body healthy nutrients including antioxidants glutathione & superoxide dismutase, omega-3 fatty acids, and precursors to vitamins A & E
- Organic coconut oil – penetrates the hair shaft while cleansing and has been shown to reduce hair breakage & toughness
- Organic extra-virgin olive oil – gently cleanses and aborbs easily in hair; leaves hair feeling well-conditioned
- Organic castor oil – has been allegedly used in ancient Egypt since 4000 B.C. for hair strength and growth – with some evidence suggesting potential for improving hair luster

Suggested Use
Use either as a shampoo bar or as a soap. Never used a shampoo bar? Easy to use – they're also wonderfully compact and spill-proof for travel convenience as well.
For use as a shampoo, rub the bar back and forth against your wet hair (or your dog's wet coat, if using for dogs) to get the rich lather started, then massage throughout hair and scalp before rinsing out.
For an extra nourishing hair treatment, let the shampoo stay in your hair for several minutes before rinsing out. If using on human hair, follow up with a natural conditioner free of synthetic toxins and fragrance.
New to using a NATURAL shampoo bar?
Your hair may take several washes to slowly adapt and transition away from commerical shampoos that may leave chemical deposits in your hair.
Once you make the transition to non-toxic shampoo bars and watch your hair restore to health, you may never wish to go back to commercial liquid shampoos!

Yes! A natural shampoo bar can really lather up without all the chemicals found in commercial liquid shampoos.
Our shampoo bars include carefully selected natural ingredients (such as organic castor oil and organic coconut oil), all of which help the bar produce a rich – and healthy – lather for easy and luxurious hair-washing.
